I have never been a real breakfast eater. Many people scowl when I say that. I am just not hungry in the morning. Why force yourself to eat if you are not hungry? Dr. Oz just came out and said breakfast is no longer considered the most important meal of the day. He said you should eat your first meal when you are hungry. Music to my ears!
I try to start my day with some fresh fruit, when I am hungry. I try to switch it up everyday but I do have a banana everyday. It is easy to eat on the go plus filling. So many people grab a breakfast bar on their way out the door. Bananas are much better choice. They are nature’s fast food. I honestly believe bananas are the perfect fruit. They are never sour or bitter. Once they get too ripe, you can freeze them and use them in a smoothie.
It is super easy to throw some strawberries, blueberries and apple slices along with a banana in a bowl and enjoy. Mix it up. Fruit is healthy, sweet and delicious. What’s not to love!
