I absolutely love a smoothie after a long run, whether on the street or on the treadmill. I think a refreshing smoothie is always a great reward. One of my favorite is a chocolate peppermint smoothie. It tastes just like a Girl Scout Cookie.
I just add the following in a blender a whip it up! I am a huge fan of Sun Warrior. I use the Warrior Blend and Liquid Light.
- 1 scoop of Warrior Blend Chocolate
- 1 ounce Liquid Light
- 1/4 teaspoon Peppermint Extract
- 2 tablespoons Ground Flax Seed
- 1 Banana
- 1 tablespoon Baking Cocoa
- 1 cup Coconut Milk
- Ice
